WCHA WOLVES

SPRING PROGRAM

How to Become a WCHA Wolf and Experience Competitive Spring Hockey

About our spring hockey

The Western Canada Hockey Academy offers Spring Hockey Programs, with teams selected through the Spring ID sessions held every October. These selected teams represent the WCHA Wolves and play out of the state-of-the-art J&G Homes Arena, which features an NHL-sized ice surface, two mini rinks, a performance center, and a 100-meter, six-lane track.

The Wolves teams practice together and participate in tournaments at the conclusion of the regular season. Players benefit from high-level coaching and top-tier hockey experiences, enjoying an extended season that enhances their skills and development. Teams are divided into Stealth (Gold) and Synergy (Silver) tiers based on the number of participants in the Spring ID program, ensuring balanced competition and opportunities for all players.

Spring ID sessions for the 2025 program were held in October 2024. Details about the 2026 Spring Hockey ID will be announced in August 2025.
