AAA Spring Hockey

Players will be offered high quality training facilities to go along with an NHL-size ice surface within the new hockey development centre being built in Brandon’s west end. Included within the facility is a performance centre for improving a player’s strength and fitness level. The development centre will also include a 6 lane—100 metre track which will help increase a player’s speed, mobility, and explosiveness.

Students from grades five through nine will spend half their days training on-ice and in the WCHA performance centre, and half the day studying in four core subjects; Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The WCHA is proud to offer this education, which follows the Manitoba Department of Education standards and guidelines to ensure a rounded education for our athletes.

Every athlete coming through our program will receive over 400 hours of skill based training over the course of one year, developing the best and brightest that Westman has to offer.
