High School PRogram
Designed for high school students committed to their development, our morning skate program runs during the high school academic calendar and features a high volume of on-ice sessions throughout the school year. Students can choose to skate between one and four times per week, depending on their schedule and goals. These sessions require a first-period spare, and a WCHA shuttle is provided to ensure students arrive at school in time for second period.
If students choose to register for InformNet, these skates may count toward a physical education credit, making it easier to balance training and academics.
Starting in the 2026–2027 school year, the Academy will also welcome Grade 9 students, giving younger student-athletes the opportunity to benefit from WCHA’s academic and athletic programs while continuing their hockey development. More information on this coming soon!
