Born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba, I began figure skating at the age of three and went on to compete at the Canada Winter Games and two Canadian National Championships. When my competitive skating career ended, I wanted to give back to the sport and began coaching in Brandon and Souris.
As my two boys, Reid and Kale, became busier with hockey, I stepped away from coaching to support them and their hockey journeys. Now 16 and 14, they’ve kept our family very busy at the rink and given us some pretty incredible experiences along the way.
After spending 15 years working within the Brandon School Division, I’m excited to begin a new chapter with Western Canada Hockey Academy. I’m looking forward to bringing together my love of sport, my experience working with kids and families, and my passion for helping young people grow both in and out of sport.
