Lesley was born and raised between Souris and Virden, Manitoba. She grew up thriving in the world of the arts. Singing, dancing, and synchronized skating were her three passions in life.After graduation, Lesley attended Brandon University, where she attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree and her Education Degree. Lesley’s career in teaching began at Forrest and Douglas Elementary School’s where she spent her days teaching Grade 8 and k-6 Music. The following year, Lesley got a job teaching at J.R. Reid school and moved over to Waverly Park the following year, where she would stay for thirteen years teaching Grade 8 ELA, SS, Art, and French. This fall, Lesley completed her Master’s of Education Degree in School Guidance and Counselling.
Lesley is no stranger to the rink, as her ten-year-old son Huxley and seven-year-old daughter Rowan keep her and her husband Marc running all winter long from rink to rink. She wouldn’t have it any other way! Lesley could not be more excited about this adventure with the Western Canadian Hockey Academy!
