Jessica grew up in Niverville, MB and played her first U18 year for the AAA Eastman Selects. Her second year she went on to play Prep Hockey for the Balmoral Hall Blazers of the JWHL and completed her final year with the U18 Shaftesbury Titans Prep Hockey program serving as assistant captain. Jessica was also a member of Team Manitoba, placing second at Nationals.

Jessica spent the next four years playing NCAA D1 hockey with the University of Connecticut Huskies and was named captain in her senior year. She went on to finish her hockey career playing professionally in Austria.

Over the last 5 years Jessica worked as the Director of Female Skill Development for Vigier Hockey, running in season development for multiple minor hockey associations across Winnipeg. Jessica has dedicated her free time to coaching for a variety of female teams at the U13AA/U15AAA levels, more recently coaching the female U18AAA Eastman Selects and U18AAA Winnipeg Ice.

Jessica had the opportunity to attend the Hockey Canada Skills certification program in 2022 in Calgary, AB and is one of the first female skills coaches in Manitoba to receive their Hockey Canada Skills certification.
