Ryan White

Ryan White brings over a decade of professional hockey experience to the Western Canada Hockey Academy, having played for more than 10 seasons at the highest levels of the sport. His deep knowledge of the game, coupled with his dedication to player development, makes him a key asset to the Academy’s coaching staff.

As a coach, Ryan has been recognized for his ability to inspire and mentor young athletes, earning Timbits Coach of the Year honors twice. In 2024, he helped guide his team to victory as an Assistant Coach, winning the MJHL title and further solidifying his reputation as a leader both on and off the ice.

Ryan is Development 1 certified and High Performance 1 educated through Hockey Manitoba, ensuring that his coaching methods are both progressive and effective. His commitment to continuous learning and development reflects his passion for helping athletes reach their full potential.

Outside of hockey, Ryan is a devoted husband and father of two, balancing his professional commitments with family life. His passion for the game, paired with his love for teaching, allows him to connect with players and foster both their athletic and personal growth.
