Michael was drafted into the NHL 133rd overall in 2010 by the Calgary Flames. Having just recently retired from the NHL, which saw him play with the Calgary Flames, Caroline Hurricanes and Vancouver Canucks, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and game experience at playing hockey at the highest level. Michael combined a physical game and a high skill game into 134 pts during his NHL playing career. Michael is also a former Brandon Wheat King (WHL) who was a part of the 2010 team which competed in the Memorial Cup. WCHA is excited and proud to have Michael join our development team.
